Die gute Hexe Cassandra "Cassie" Nightingale hat alle Hände voll zu tun, ihre neuen Mutterpflichten und ihren Job als Bürgermeisterin unter einen Hut zu bringen. Cassie und ihr Ehemann, Sheriff Jake Russel, brauchen dringend Erholung. Deshalb bereitet Cassie einen Familienurlaub vor. Doch leider läuft mal wieder alles anders als geplant. Die Stadt wird von einer wahren Diebstahlswelle heimgesucht und ein hartnäckiger Reporter bringt Cassie in Erklärungsnot, als er ein Video ins Internet stellt, in dem sie auf magische Weise zu verschwinden scheint. Als wäre das alles nicht genug, taucht auch noch Cassies Pflegemutter in der Stadt auf, mit der sie seit langem im Streit liegt. Cassie muss ihren ganzen Charme aufbieten, um die brodelnde Gerüchteküche abzukühlen und ihren guten Ruf wieder herzustellen.

Als Jake und Cassie beschließen, an Weihnachten zu heiraten, wird alles kompliziert. Jake muss als Polizeichef den Ex-Häftling Leon Deeks überwachen und hat außerdem Schwierigkeiten, eine Hochzeitslizenz zu bekommen, da er Cassies Dokumente nicht finden kann. Außerdem muss in letzter Sekunde noch eine Hochzeitstorte organisiert werden. Jakes Sohn Brandon will währenddessen Zeit mit seiner Freundin verbringen und streitet sich mit seiner Schwester Lori, die wiederum Cassies Ehering verliert.

His friends, his time partner and the artists he frequented are portrayed in their everyday life or object of the mechanical gaze of the camera, a filter through which to look at the outside world.

Zu allem Überfluss scheint sie dann auch noch ihre magischen Fähigkeiten zu verlieren und während der Erforschung der Familienhistorie stößt sie auf die Geschichte eines Fluches, der im Zusammenhang mit dem mysteriösen Verschwinden ihrer Großtante steht.

"Monster Fire Baby" by the Blood Pumpers Racing Club was a Hyper-Mega Supercharged monster sex performance - complete with the world's first (as far as I know) live burning-monster baby birth! Performed at WildChild Productions in downtown San Diego sometime in 1991. The all-star cast consisted of 16 performers divided into 4 teams, the team members all wore custom uniforms labelled with a number and a color. This is a short edit of the performance that was made to accompany an installation piece for lalapalooza's traveling art tent. Unfortunately it doesn't convey the intensity of the show, a longer edit and all the original footage were lost, leaving this as the only document.

A simple knot would be enough, until some woman, playing with the loose threads, created the first finger lace pattern. This is the main subject of this film. Mrs Marie Naxaki’s encounter with these women led to the joy of talking about the past and the special meaning of the finger lace edging.
