Adam Ondra has been considered the best climber in the history of climbing for several years now. Even though he is only 19. Despite the fact that he is studying at a demanding grammar school, he is maybe the most traveling and definitely the most watched climber of today. It is almost an impossible task to combine and manage top sporting performances on the rocks, a difficult studying and the never ending carousel of competitions, interviews, festivals and slide-shows. Adam is taking his A level exams in a few weeks. Even though he is a top student, he decides not to go to university. Instead, he and 3 of his friends are setting on a long journey to the unknown north of Europe. Remote areas of Norway and Sweden are hiding some undiscovered climbing and natural treasures. Der Film zeigt verschiedene, besonders grausame Todesfälle, die dem Zuschauer wie ein Zusammenschnitt verschiedener Nachrichtenausschnitte und Amateuraufnahmen erscheinen. Die meisten Szenen sind allerdings inszeniert.

For thirty years, Jerry Garcia played guitar and sang for the Grateful Dead, and by doing so, inspired a modern cultural phenomenon: the legions of nomadic fans that made a communal way of life out of following Jerry and the Dead, the Deadheads. The End of the Road began shooting three months prior to Garcia's death in 1995, on the road with the wandering family of Deadheads- on what would be the final tour with Jerry and the Grateful Dead. Featuring a soundtrack by Merl Saunders and Jerry Garcia, the film celebrates this social, political and cultural movement in its twilight.

Am Ende stellen die Damen dann aber noch einmal klar: Mit diesem Film ziehen sie bestimmt keinen Schlussstrich unter ihre Karrieren. Sie werden unermüdlich bis zum Ende arbeiten.
