WWE WrestleMania VIII was the eighth annual WrestleMania. It took place on April 5, 1992 at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana. April 2018 nach einem Suizid in Maskat, Oman tot aufgefunden wurde,[1] gründete seine Familie die Tim Bergling Foundation, die sich als Ziel setzte über die Behandlung psychischer Erkrankungen und Suizidprävention aufzuklären.[2] Nachdem im Juni 2019 das posthume Studioalbum Tim veröffentlicht wurde,[3] begann das Team um die Stiftung mit der Planung eines Konzerts, welches zu Ehren des Musikers veranstaltet werden soll. Bei der Organisation wurden sie von verschiedenen Unternehmen und Marken unterstützt. Dabei traten in erster Linie das Flugunternehmen SAS Scandinavian Airlines, der Lautsprecher-Marke Urbanista sowie das Reiseunternehmens Tallink & Silja Line. SAS bot im Zuge des Konzertes zusätzlich günstige Anreisen an sowie Urbanista der Stiftung 10 % der Einnahmen des Oktober-Monats spendete. Auch die Hotelketten Hotel at Six, Nordic Light Hotel und Quality Hotel Friends kollaborierten mit der Tim Bergling Foundation.

Es war die größte Party aller Zeiten: 1999 tanzten 1,5 Millionen Menschen auf der Straße inmitten von Deutschlands Hauptstadt Berlin. Angefangen hatte alles 1989 kurz vor dem Fall der Mauer mit einer Idee, geboren in der wachsenden elektronischen Musikszene im Untergrund von Westberlin. Unter dem Motto "Friede, Freude, Eierkuchen" veranstaltete der Club-DJ Dr. Motte zusammen mit Weggefährten die erste Loveparade als politische Demonstration, bei der anfangs nur 150 schrill gekleidete Menschen zu Techno und House tanzten. Die Folgejahre prägten eine ganze Generation und brachten deren Lebensgefühl zum Ausdruck. Mithilfe von Interviews mit Organisatoren und Zeitzeugen gibt der Dokumentarfilm die Geschichte der zum Riesen-Event angewachsenen Veranstaltung wider, vergisst dabei aber nicht die Schattenseiten, wie Kommerz und Geschäftemacherei den wahren Geist zerstörten, lange vor dem Umzug in andere Städte und der Loveparade-Katastrophe 2010 in Duisburg, die eine Ära in Trauer enden ließ.
