The Hitman Returns: David Foster & Friends wurde im letzten Jahr in der ausverkauften Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas mitgeschnitten und gefilmt. „Es wurde eine schier unglaubliche Show“, kommentierte Foster den Abend. „Es gab so viele magische Momente in dieser Nacht, und besonders stolz bin ich darauf, einige Aufsehen erregende Kombinationen zustande initiiert zu haben, etwa ein Medley mit Chaka Khan, Seal und Michael Bolton, ein atemberaubendes Duett von Natalie Cole und Ruben Studdard sowie eine außergewöhnliche Performance von Charice, Ne-Yo und Robert Randolph. Nicht zuletzt brachte mich der gemeinsame Auftritt mit Donna Summer, die ich bei „Last Dance“ auf dem Keyboard begleitete, zurück in die Zeit, als wir den Song zum ersten Mal aufgenommen hatten.“

Dass Superschurke Dark Mayhem (Matt Mullins) wieder auftaucht, kommt ihnen da fast schon gelegen, doch dessen Pläne sind diesmal noch teuflischer als je zuvor, sodass die gesamte Familie Thunderman einmal mehr zusammenarbeiten muss, um sie zu durchkreuzen.

In this film, Feyrouz Serhal embarks on a day trip in Beirut and navigates the city that profoundly shaped Maroun’s journey in life and cinema. Here she encounters individuals who were close to him and who shared his experiences. And as she traverses Maroun’s life and career, the social and political backdrop moves to the foreground. The film reflects on the last fifty years of the history of the country from a present standpoint. Through Maroun’s story, we perceive how cinema can, beautifully and dramatically, portray our stories and discourse our life events..
