A bicycle messenger sees a girl being brutally assaulted and dragged into a van. She immediately calls the police, but unfortunately the girl is found too late. It turns out that the murdered girl has been the victim of a serious sexual crime. Detective Inspector Irene Huss and the rest of the team begin to look for the murderer, but have very few clues to go on. When another young girl is murdered in a similar way, the team realizes that they are dealing with a sexual predator. How does he get in touch with the girls? Why do they agree to meet him? Why are they wearing special underwear?

Auf dem Mutterraumschiff Axiom erhält der Reparaturroboter BURN·E von dem Versorgungsroboter SUPPLY·R eine Ersatzlampe, um eine kaputte zu ersetzen. Als EVE's Schiff an der Axiom ankommt, winken sich WALL·E und BURN·E zu, wodurch die noch lose Ersatzlampe in den Weltraum wegfliegt. So muss er mit einer zweiten Lampe einen neuen Versuch starten. Währenddessen setzt der Sicherheitsroboter GO·4 eine Pflanze von der Erde, die EVE mitgebracht hat, in eine Rettungskapsel und stellt diese auf „Selbstzerstörung“. Als sie trotz WALL·E's Rettungsversuch explodiert, erschrickt BURN·E und lässt die Lampe erneut wegschweben. Zur selben Zeit tanzt WALL·E, welcher die Explosion überlebt hat, zusammen mit EVE durch das All. Als sie zurückkehren, sperren sie BURN·E versehentlich aus.

In der Vorgeschichte zu Pixars "Soul" versucht 22, die sich hartnäckig weigert auf die Erde zu gehen, einen Aufstand anzuzetteln, indem sie eine Gang aus fünf neuen Seelen zusammentrommelt. Die Aktivitäten ihrer Truppe führen jedoch zu unerwarteten Wendungen und so steht am Ende ihres subversiven Plans vielleicht sogar ein überraschender Einblick in den Sinn des Lebens.
