Zumindest im Winter 2020/21, wo ein kleines Virus namens SARS-CoV2 insbesondere den Kontinent Europa lahmgelegt hat. Während in den meisten Ländern mit unterschiedlichsten und noch dazu strafbewährten Maßnahmen wie Lockdown, Maskenpflicht und Kontaktbeschränkungen dem Virus der Kampf angesagt wurde, ging man in Schweden einen anderen Weg. Statt unzählige Vorschriften zu erlassen, appellierte man in dem skandinavischen Königreich vor allem an den mündigen Bürger. Bürger, bei denen man frei von jeder Maskenpflicht jedenfalls noch einen Mund erkennen kann. Ein Weg, der aber auch Kritiker zum Widerspruch anstachelte. Von Scheitern war die Rede. Apokalyptische Zustände wurden für die Lockdown-Anomalie im Norden Europas orakelt.
